Paralimni
Paralimni is the largest town on the island’s east coast and has a lovely mix of both modern & old architecture.
The word Paralimni means ‘by the lake’. Historically, the town was built on the shores of a shallow lake which is often dry during the summer months and fills with water and flocks of migrating flamingos during the winter.
At its heart lies a shopping centre and small entertainment scene, including cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarkets & banks and is suitable for both permanent & holiday living. You are also only a 10 minute drive to a variety of beaches
