Xylophagou
Located a short distance to the A3 motorway and Larnaca, the village has all the local amenities on your doorstep, supermarket, bakeries, cafes and local tavernas.
It is also home to a medieval Venetian watchtower and the Cave of the 40 Martyrs with many years of history embroiled in the village. The village boasts its own private beach but is close to many other beautiful beaches, the harbour and sea caves.
In 2021, to commemorate the role played by locally grown potatoes in the community's growth, a 16-foot-tall potato statue nicknamed the "Big Potato " was erected in the village. Reaching worldwide media not only in the newspapers but all also in the news, making it become a local landmark
